Boy, Does Time Fly By...

Well, it's been awhile since I have updated the old blog. Mostly due to the ever fantastic and exciting furniture show in the mecca of home furnishings...High Point, North Carolina. This time I had an extended stay just shy of 2 weeks.

Then jetted off to meet Jill in NYC for a whirlwind and raucous wedding. I must give kudos to Jill's side of the family, they know how to throw great parties! Griffin did not make this trip and was solo in LA for the first time. But, he had lots of fun hanging out with his nanny, Daysi, and her family.

Jill's niece, Laura, married a nimble footed gentleman named David. It's a great match. The location was blazin' (The Light House at Chelsea Piers), the food delicious, the band jamming (I lost count after the 10 musicians), the dance floor hoppin', and the people joyous. It was such a bash it was recorded in the New York Times.

This was one of the great little touches. A photo booth for everyone to take some snaps. The pics were then put into the guest book with color commentary added.

Did I mention it was black tie? Everyone was dressed to the nines, even me!

Gretchen and Alan clowning around. Cut it out kids.

Below is a shot by the pros. For more of their shots click here search the BLOG at the top for Laura and Dave entry from Wednesday April 4th. This is our homage to Where's Waldo...can you find Jill and me?

OK that was our first weekend away from the boy. We all survived! For me, it was over two weeks away. So when I came back I just had to shoot some pics and do some bonding.

Here's our bouncin' cowboy on his pal Aydan's rubber pony.

On Easter morning, Griff and I got up early to go to Burbank for the big egg hunt. The only egg we found was a big goose egg. Got there a few minutes too late and they were all snatched up.

This Easter outfit is a hand-me-down from Jill's nephew, David, it's vintage 70's Lacoste!

One of Griffin's studious moments.
