Birthday Cakes... Yummy

Well, being born on Dec 29th, I can tell you it's sometimes hard to have a birthday party...
I should know, Griff and I share the same birthday.
Everyone's on vacation, recovering from the holidays, or looking forward to New Years. So, what is one to do?
Have two parties of course!
Griffin had a group party with some of his fellow Capricorns, Jackson and Hannah.

Birthday Boy Jackson and Mom, Nancy

Then, a second party on the actual B-day. And, what a cake Mom got! Fast cars and colored frosting make a great combination.

Here are some of the special guests that made to the bash!

Dee Lee & the ever faithful Bandit

Jeff Mitchell & Little Daisy

The Mitchell's Jean, Jeff, and Daisy(teasing is so much fun). Shantam The Balloon Wizard in the background working away at creating another masterpiece.

Oliver Battye (one of the three Battye triplets) wearing the latest fashion in head gear created by Shantam Ambesh.

Bestest friend Aydan the artist

The Battye triplets: Ben, Oliver, and Sarah

I don't know if you noticed but the second birthday boy is nowhere to be found in any of the photos... Always behind the camera.

Aydan's Wild Bash in the Park

As for mentioned in a previous posting,
we partied hard as only 2 years olds can.
See if you can spot the common theme in the pictures below.

Do you come here often? The snacks are great!

One day I'll be a commerical artist designing snack packages.

I'm just practicing eating on the run.

A party would not be complete if not for CAKE!!

Long time no Blog. Sorry

Hello Everyone,

It's been a busy couple of months. Party, Holiday, Party, Holiday, Party, Holiday.

But before you go off thinking, I'm a binge drinker, I must admit that my party frame of reference has shifted. Most of them now days involve someone turning 2 years old.

Griffin and Jill are active members of a Thursday play group, while I'm working away, they are crusin' the parks looking for the best slides around. All the kids in the "Little Rascals" are all born between November and January. Hence all the parties.

One of the play grounds that I did find with Griffin. He's getting ready to shred!!!

Below are a couple shots at the LA Zoo Holiday Night for zoo members. Nope, we're not members of any of those high follutin' clubs just joined Ranger Rick & his pal Smokey the Bear

The story to the two following photos goes as follows:

Off to visit Santa at Desconso Gardens when Dad & Griffin spot the gardens' golf cart for some fun. Santa's lap didn't hold any enchantment for Griffin after that and we had to leave the Desconso without visiting with the man in red.

Walking down the street later that day in Montrose, who should we spot but Santa and this time there is no golf cart to distract dad and son.
